Nick got the baseball bug this year! On one of his days off from school, St. Andrews School offered a baseball clinic for the day. Nick went and loved it! A few weeks later at the school carnival, we ran into one of the coaches from the clinic who inquired if Nick had been playing any more baseball. We hadn't really thought about it and told him so, but he encouraged us to sign Nick up for west city league. There was one more day left of evaluations, so we made it just under the wire. He is playing for the Angels and is really loving it. Coach is hard on them, so it was a little rough at the start, but it has been good for him! He is learning about teamwork as well. Daddy is assisting with coaching. One of the first games, Coach was out and the assistant coach would not pitch, so Daddy stepped up! He did a great job too!
This was opening day. Nick was in a parade with Billy the Marlin. This was his first day wearing the uniform...he looks so cute.
Auntie Renee came with Ryan and Alysa to see Nick in the parade!
Waiting for instructions from coach....
I'm ready for lunch and an Italian Ice!!!
